Cookie Policy
The 53ON Application and, where applicable, its website use cookies and similar technologies (for example, device identifiers or local storage) to remember preferences, improve performance, maintain active sessions, and analyze service usage.
When required by applicable regulations, the user’s explicit consent will be requested for the use of non-strictly necessary cookies, and options will be offered to manage or revoke such consent from the device settings, the browser, or the Application itself.
Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent users’ personal information. However, we may share personal data in the following cases:
- Service Providers: companies that provide services to 53ON, such as hosting, payment processing, messaging tools, data analytics, technical support, or marketing services, under contracts that require them to process the information in accordance with our instructions and the law.
- Platform Service Providers: the strictly necessary information (for example, name, contact phone number, service address, and in some cases, approximate location) may be shared with the provider or professional who will fulfill the user’s request.
- Legal Obligations and Protection: competent authorities, courts, or government bodies, when necessary to comply with the law, respond to legal processes, or protect the rights, property, or safety of 53ON, users, providers, or third parties.
- Corporate Transactions: in the context of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or a similar situation, the information may be transferred to the resulting entity, always under appropriate protection measures.
- Anonymized or Aggregated Data: statistical information that does not directly identify a user, used for analysis, market studies, or service improvement.
Information Security
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical measures to protect information against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. This includes encryption when transmitting certain data, access controls, internal security policies, and training for authorized personnel.
However, no system is completely infallible. The user acknowledges that, although 53ON strives to protect their information, it is not possible to guarantee absolute security in electronic communications and storage.
Data Retention
Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, to maintain the transaction history, handle claims, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. In general, the information may be retained for up to 7 years, unless the law requires a different period or longer retention is necessary for contractual or legal liability reasons.
Once these periods have expired, 53ON may anonymize the data for statistical or research purposes or delete it securely.
Location Policy
The 53ON Application uses location data solely to facilitate the provision of services and coordinate the assigned provider with the User.
- Service address: the User may indicate an address where they wish to receive the service, which may be different from their physical location. This address is considered the main reference point for the provision of the service and may be modified before confirming each request.
- Optional geolocation: the User may authorize, if they wish, the use of the device’s location to find nearby providers and calculate distances and estimated times. If they do not grant this permission, they may continue using the Application by entering addresses manually, except for specific features that require location in order to operate.
- Location privacy: the service address and, where applicable, the approximate location are only shared with the provider who will fulfill the request and with the technological providers necessary (for example, maps), and solely to coordinate the service or comply with legal obligations.
- User control: the User may update or delete saved addresses from their account and may enable or disable location permissions from the device settings at any time. However, by restricting geolocation, some features may be limited or less accurate.
Minors
The 53ON Application is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If we become aware that information has been collected from a minor without the required authorizations, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
User Rights
In accordance with applicable law, the user may exercise rights such as: access, rectification, update, objection, restriction of processing, portability, and deletion of their personal data.
To exercise these rights or to make inquiries related to the protection of their data, the user may contact ceo53on@gmail.com. Additional data may be requested to verify their identity before processing the request.
Changes to this Policy
53ON may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Any significant change will be communicated by means of a notice in the 53ON Application, on the website, or by email, as appropriate. Continued use of the Application after communication of the changes will imply acceptance of the modifications.
